A freezer body takes about an hour to pull down to frozen temperature, twice as long as chiller work. That is why frozen jobs are best booked a little earlier, and why frozen carries a published surcharge rather than a surprise on the invoice.
Partial thawing and refreezing is invisible on arrival and ruins product. The temperature record shows the required range, how long the cargo was in transit and any excursion with its duration, so you know rather than guess.

Frozen needs a longer pull-down, so give the vehicle time to reach temperature before pickup.
Loaded at temperature
The 1 or 4 tonne vehicle arrives already at frozen temperature, and holds it across every stop.

Questions
Why does frozen cost more than chiller?
The vehicle takes an hour to pull down instead of thirty minutes and burns more fuel holding frozen temperature. The surcharge is published on the pricing section, so it is on the quote, not added later.
Can chilled and frozen go on the same run?
Not in the same compartment. Book them as separate jobs, or ask about a multi compartment vehicle, which we can arrange with notice.
What happens if the temperature goes out of range?
Where the vehicle's logger is connected, the record shows exactly when it happened, for how long and where the vehicle was, and we tell you what we think caused it.
How far ahead do I need to book?
Book by 18:00 for a next morning slot at the scheduled rate. Same day is possible and priced higher, because it means pulling a vehicle off something else.
