Operations control tower

Every booking, real time. Accept it, assign a vehicle and driver, and each status change appears on the customer's tracking page immediately.

Who can do what — user roles and permissions

Role	Who it is	Can do
Customer customer_admin	The company that books deliveries. Every public sign-up starts here.	Book deliveries, pay, track their own shipments, download their invoices and records, manage their own company users. Sees only their own bookings.
Driver driver	A Frimas fleet driver.	Sees only jobs assigned to them. Moves a job forward step by step (accept, en route, arrived, loading, in transit, delivered, completed) and captures the receiver name at delivery. Cannot see other drivers' jobs or any admin screen.
Support support	Frimas front-line staff.	Staff member: sees every booking and this console. Currently holds the same booking powers as Operations (accept, reject, assign, reassign, dispatch, hold/resume, status, override, notes, alerts), because the database gates all three staff roles together. Operations ops	Frimas dispatch team.	The day-to-day dispatch work: accept or reject bookings, run smart dispatch, assign or reassign the vehicle and driver, put a booking on hold and resume it, update status, add operational notes, acknowledge or resolve alerts, and — as a controlled exception — override a booking's status outside the normal workflow (always with a reason, always recorded).
Admin admin	Frimas owner / manager.	Everything Operations can do, plus the admin-only actions: change another account's role and register or rotate vehicle devices.

Roles are held in the database (profiles.role) and enforced there, not in the browser. A public sign-up can only ever create a customer; staff and driver roles are set by an administrator in Supabase. See docs for how to promote an account.

Hire requests

Submissions from the "Request this vehicle" form on the fleet pages. Mark a request contacted or closed once ops has followed up.

Users and roles

Every Frimas account. Operations and support can view the list. Only an administrator can change another account's role.
